Moviqu uses browser-based storage (cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage) to provide core functionality. This includes keeping you signed in between sessions, storing your authentication session, and remembering essential application state such as your current brand workspace.
This storage is essential to the service and cannot be disabled without breaking core features like sign-in and video creation.
We may use storage mechanisms to help protect your account and the service from abuse, such as recognising repeated failed sign-in attempts. This storage supports the security of the service and is not used for advertising.
Moviqu currently uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (page views, performance metrics) to help us understand how the app is used and improve the service. No personally identifiable information is collected through this analytics tool.
With your permission, Moviqu uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies such as _fbp and sends information to Meta about the pages you visit on Moviqu, together with technical details such as your IP address, browser, and device. We use this to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work and to reach people who may be interested in Moviqu. Meta processes this information under its own privacy policy, and it may be processed outside South Africa.
The Meta Pixel only loads after you select “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, it is not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it at any time:
Token purchases are completed on our payment provider's checkout page. The payment provider may set its own cookies during checkout. Those cookies are governed by the payment provider's own privacy and cookie policies, not ours, and we do not control or have access to them.
